Hastelloy B3 (N10675) is a nickel-based superalloy composed of nickel, molybdenum, cobalt and other elements, with a nickel content of about 65%. Hastelloy B3 (N10675) nickel-based alloy is a new material improved on the basis of Hastelloy B2, which improves the thermal stability of the material, thus improving the corrosion resistance, and at the same time, improves the hot forming and cold forming properties. In recent years, it has been more and more used in the production and manufacture of chemical equipment.
B-3 alloy is a new member of the nickel-molybdenum alloy family and has excellent corrosion resistance to hydrochloric acid at all temperatures and concentrations. It also has good corrosion resistance to sulfuric acid, acetic acid, formic acid, phosphoric acid and other non-oxidizing media.
Due to the adjustment of its chemical composition, its thermal stability is greatly improved compared with the original B-2 alloy. B-3 alloy has high resistance to pitting corrosion, stress corrosion, knife-edge corrosion and corrosion in the heat affected zone of welding. Excellent plastic properties can be maintained when exposed to medium temperature. Excellent pitting and stress corrosion cracking resistance; Excellent resistance to knife-edge corrosion and heat-affected zone corrosion; Excellent resistance to acetic acid, acetic acid, phosphoric acid and other non-oxidizing acids; Excellent resistance to hydrochloric acid corrosion at various concentrations and temperatures.
