Project Overview: A municipal sewage treatment plant in Europe. The medium within the aeration tanks consists of acidic and alkaline corrosive effluent, causing severe wear and corrosion to standard stainless steel impellers, resulting in short replacement cycles. Our duplex stainless steel alloy impeller components were selected for the retrofit.
Product Specifications: 2205 duplex alloy, resistant to chloride ion corrosion, with enhanced wear resistance treatment.
Scope of Collaboration: Production of alloy castings, machining and forming, guidance on wear-resistant processes, and long-term supply of spare parts in bulk.
Benefits: The service life of the impellers has been extended from 8 months to 36 months, improving the continuous operational efficiency of the wastewater treatment equipment.
